My Friend's Man Was Pretty Sweet

Hey Swēt, I have a confession, I slept with the guy she travelled to see.

Sara and I took a trip together, both of us single and, "interviewing" prospectives. The plan was neat: crash at her guy's place first, then I'd head across town to see mine. Her guy, Dami, opened the door, and Swēt, the first thing I clocked was how fine the man was, far finer than the pictures Sara had shown me, which felt almost unfair.

His place was oddly furnished, a whole bed sitting in the living room, family abroad, a cousin lodging upstairs, but it worked for him.

We settled in, some of his friends came through and we all hung out, and by evening it was just the three of us, Sara and me sprawled on the bed watching something on his laptop while Dami sat across the room on his phone. Easy, until Sara stepped out to pick a call, and Dami started small talk, he then talked about how I was cool and entering his eye, I teased him that he was here for Sara, and left it there.

So when Sara came back I told her everything. And my friend, ehn, God bless her, in her freakiness told me to try and shoot my shot at him and see where it went, but he shouldn't know that she knew.

So later, when he was alone in the kitchen, I went in and shut the door behind me. This man looked like he was cooking something really good then he looked up, and started small talk. I teased him about him and Sara and how he was looking sweet. I then made the move and kissed him.
