He Smelled Too Good To Say No
Hey Swēt, I have a confession, I broke my one dating rule for a man because of how he smelled.
I don't do fair guys. Never have. Something about them just doesn't hit for me, dark chocolate all the way, that's been my type my whole life.
So when I matched this one on Tinder, I nearly unmatched immediately. Fair, tall, but fair. Five, six lines in he asked for my number, I dropped it just to be polite, and then I forgot he existed. Genuinely forgot. He didn't call, didn't text, I moved on.
Two weeks later, out of nowhere on a random public holiday afternoon, my phone rings. "Hi, it's [him] from Tinder." Omo I didn't even remember saving him. He asked if we could hang out. I wasn't feeling too well, so I told him to come pick me up, we'd figure it out from there.
He pulled up smelling like a whole man. Whatever cologne he had on Swēt, I'm telling you, my brain paused for a second when he opened the door. We went for a quiet dinner and something in me kept leaning in. Fair boy, but he smelled like sin. We clicked immediately. Then we kept talking every day for the next two weeks.
Second date he took me to the cinema. Filmhouse Lekki. Thin dress, no underwear because I never wear underwear anyway, and I sat next to him in the dark. Cold AC, screen glowing, our row basically empty.
Twenty minutes in, our hands were touching. Just touching. He'd graze my finger and act like he wasn't doing anything, Shy werey. My thighs started pressing together on their own. Then he shifted, put his hand on my knee, slid it up slowly under the dress. When he realised I had nothing on he actually paused, looked at me sideways in the dark, and smiled.
I put my hand on his lap.
He was already hard.
